sbpr_ftloe_rb

From USA Today Bestselling Author, A.M. Hargrove, comes a New Adult, Single Dad, Sexy, Stand Alone Romance.

Book Description:

Single dad, Beckley Bridges, is sexy as hell.
No, really, he’s the hottest thing since the sun was created.
Honest to God, crack an egg on him and the thing will sizzle.
So what’s the problem?
He’s also a gigantic jerk.
I hate the bastard.
I try to avoid him at all costs.
But for some reason, everywhere I go he seems to show up.

Only the real issue is his daughter, English.
She’s an adorable quirky first-grader who’s the sweetest thing since iced tea.
And she’s one of my students but also the love of his life.
So I have to deal with him on a professional level.
It’s not easy.
On a scale of easy to hard, dealing with Beckley Bridges is like nails screeching across a blackboard.

But when English’s mother tries to gain custody after abandoning her on Beckley’s doorstep as an infant, he’ll do anything possible to keep English under his roof.

That’s how he ends up propositioning me.

And crazy as it sounds?

I find myself considering it.

My Review:

For the Love of English by A.M. Hargrove

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Introduction: Beck is a single, handsome, stong, comes across as a bit arrogant single father.

English, Beck's daughter who is entering grade one and Miss Sheridan Monroe who happens to be English's first grade teacher.

Brief Snopsis: Six years ago during Christmas break and after a night out with the boys Beck's parents wake him up to show him the present that was left on their front porch with a letter. Here we first meeting English. Present Day: English is now entering grade 1 and on the first day of school we are introduced to her teacher Miss Sheridan Monroe.

Immediately reading this story you fall in love with English, she is smart, independent, strong and a force to be reckoned with. She made me laugh out loud and I love how she is so comfortable wearing whatever she wants. Sheridan is a beautiful young woman with a caring, compassionate, easy going personality everything that is required to become a great teacher. Then there is Beck, English's dad, he doesn't make the greatest first impression but no matter what Sheridan cannot deny the attraction she feels and the attraction is mutual. English knows what she wants!

Beck is struggling trying to deal with someone from his past, he will do anything for his daughter even asks Sheridan for her help. Then arrangement begins and it actually works out because they both love English and will do anything for her and their attraction to each other sure helps the situation.

I loved how this book was written, I loved each part and I felt the story flowed extremely well. Its no secret A.M. Hargrove is one of my favorite authors, her writing can make you laugh out loud and then the next thing you know your looking for the Kleenex. A great author is a person who can write a story and make you feel what her characters are experiencing. A.M Hargrove is definitely what I consider a great author. Her stories make woman swoon over her male characters and you want the female characters to become your BFF's. And English is the type of young girl any mother would wish for.

I have rated For the Love of English 5 stars, great story, well written and you will not be disappointed at all. I highly/strongly recommend For the Love of English by A.M. Hargrove.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

About the Author:

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, USA Today bestselling author, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So she made a quick decision to quit her job and reinvented herself as a Naughty and Nice Romance Author.

She fancies herself all of the following: Reader, Writer, Dark Chocolate Lover, Ice Cream Worshipper, Coffee Drinker (swears the coffee, chocolate, and ice cream should be added as part of the USDA food groups), Lover of Grey Goose (and an extra dirty martini), #WalterThePuppy Lover, and if you’re ever around her for more than five minutes, you’ll find out she’s a non-stop talker.
